From the Hawkesbury
At home everywhere
Cass Walsh is an Australian mixed-media landscape artist living in the Hawkesbury, who has been exploring the art found in nature for over 13 years. Professionally trained in oil and acrylic painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, and digital artistry, the light, colours, tones, and textures found in the Australian landscape inspire Cass to create emotive artworks.
Her modern landscape artworks range from the fleeting, delicate secrets of the Australian bush to the grand, richly colourful brilliance of the wide-open outback landscape. In each of her artworks, she aspires to capture an impression of the scene, allowing each viewer to connect with and enjoy their own experience of the landscape.
Join Cass on her journey as she immerses herself in sketching, painting studies on location, and developing larger artworks in her Hawkesbury studio.
Alongside her own personal artistic pursuits, Cass also co-created the Scapes of Art art gallery with her husband, Jeff Walsh Fine Art Photographer. When Cass and Jeff are not creating, they love to travel in their 4WD and off-road van, sharing their adventures as Trax & Pix.
