On my canvas
Building on that same spirit of observation, painting and mixed media allow me to move beyond what is seen, interpreting the light, texture, atmosphere and emotion of nature through colour and layered mark-making. Rather than recreating a scene, I seek to capture the feeling of being immersed within it.
