The Space Between Blooming

The gardens were full of flowers that morning.

Some had only just opened. Others were already beginning to fade. New leaves were pushing through bare stems while older blooms quietly surrendered to the season.

At first, it felt like a collection of separate moments.

But the longer I wandered, the harder it became to say where one ended and another began.

Perhaps that's because nature doesn't think in milestones.

It doesn't celebrate the first leaf or mourn the last petal. It simply continues—always becoming something else.

We often speak about life as though it unfolds in clear chapters. We wait to arrive. To finish. To reach whatever comes next.

Nature suggests something gentler.

There is no neat line between beginning and ending.

Only countless moments of becoming.

A bud is already a flower.

A flower is already a seed.

A fallen petal is already making space for new growth.

Perhaps noticing isn't about finding perfection in the fully opened bloom.

Perhaps it's learning to appreciate every quiet stage in between.
